    Tumblr friendships are pretty strange… because tumblr is so personal (even without text posts and specifically *personal* stuff you can get to know a lot about a person from their blog) so it’s like doing friendship backwards. You can start talking to someone about stuff you’d never talk about with anyone else, until you’d call them a friend, but then you realise you don’t even know how old they are or when their birthday is and so eventually you get to the questions that would come first if you met them in the real world. It’s really awesome but also pretty odd! :)
